How to set up Gmail

GMail Setup

Signing In:

In a browser go to  mail.google.com   (or choose “Mail” from the “Waffle Menu”)

Sign in with the same school email address you’ve used all year. ([e-mail])

If you’ve never signed into your Google Apps account before you'll be asked to change your password. Your initial password is Changeme*

Please follow these best practices for passwords:

• 8 or more characters
• Both upper- and lower-case letters
• Include some numbers and/or symbols (but don't use a 1, 12,  or  !  at the end -- way too many people do that)
• Never use your school password for banking or other personal accounts.
