How to setup Google e-mail with Mac OS X using the Mail app

Click ‘Mail’ on the dock

Enter your e-mail address and password, then click continue

Change ‘Account Type’ to Google (Multi Colored Google icon next to it)

Have the description say ‘School’ or ‘Gmail’ or ‘Hoosac Valley’ or whatever you’d like.

Click the checkboxes to setup Contacts and Calendars if you wish. Click Continue

Verify settings, click Create.
